Milotay advanced to the semifinals with a composed 6–1, 7–6 (7–4) win that mixed dominance with resilience. The first set lasted just 24 minutes, but when his opponent raised the level in the second, Milotay responded with measured serving and crisp backhand returns in the breaker, winning the final three points with authority. “The first set was clinical,” said coach Mercer. “And the tiebreak showed he can close when it gets tight.”
