In a physically demanding semifinal, Milotay defeated Jonathan Reid 4–6, 6–4, 6–1 after adjusting his patterns and extending the length of rallies. Reid dictated much of the early play, but Milotay began neutralizing the pace with heavy topspin and broke twice late in the second before running away with the third behind early service holds and aggressive court positioning. “He wore me down,” Reid admitted. “By the last set, I was reacting to him.”
