Milotay booked another semifinal berth with a 7–6 (7–4), 6–2 win in windy conditions that challenged both players. The first set stayed on serve throughout before Milotay dominated the tiebreak with two forehand return winners and a reflex volley at the net. Once ahead, he used heavy topspin and sharp angles to overwhelm his opponent in the second set, breaking twice in the opening four games. “He handled the weather better than anyone today,” said an event official.
