Milotay captured the week’s championship with a polished 6–4, 6–3 victory that showcased his balance and poise. After an early exchange of breaks, the 16-year-old settled down with stronger first serves and sharper control from the baseline, taking the first set with a clean hold at 5–4. In the second, he broke at 2–1 with a forehand return winner and never trailed again. “That was championship tennis,” said coach Mercer. “He looked composed from start to finish.”
