Milotay won the first eight points of the match, broke twice in the opening set, and controlled the second by mixing deep returns with well-timed net approaches. At 5–2, he held from love-30 down, ending the contest with a forehand into the open court. “He started with tremendous energy,” said organizer Drennan.
