Milotay added another June title with a 6–3, 6–4 championship performance built on smart serving and quick transitions from defense to attack. He broke at 2–1 in the first set after three consecutive deep returns, then survived a tense 4–4 game in the second by saving break point with a low backhand slice approach before holding and breaking immediately afterward to end the match. “He played like someone with far more experience,” said coach Mercer.
