Milotay closed this fictional June series with a 6–4, 3–6, 6–2 win in a final that showcased his full range of skills. He claimed the first set by breaking in the seventh game with a pair of backhand drives, lost the second as his opponent rushed the net more effectively, and then stormed through the decider by breaking twice early and finishing points with confidence from both wings. He sealed the match—and the month—with an ace down the middle. “June has shown just how complete his game is becoming,” said organizer Drennan. “He competed like a true champion.”
