Milotay continued his steady July form with a 6–4, 3–6, 7–5 victory in a match defined by momentum swings and long service games. He led 4–1 in the opening set, lost the second as his first-serve percentage dipped, and then recovered from 2–4 down in the third by attacking short balls and forcing deuce in three straight return games before finally converting in the 12th game. “People are starting to talk about him as the player everyone wants to watch,” said a representative from a local club.
