In doubles action, Milotay and partner Stephen Carver claimed a 6–3, 4–6, 6–4 semifinal victory by combining sharp poaching with disciplined serving patterns. The pair surged to a 4–0 lead in the first, lost traction in the second when their opponents attacked the middle, and then regrouped in the decider, where Milotay intercepted three key volleys in the seventh game to break for 4–3 and never looked back. “He anticipates so well at the net that it settles the whole team,” Carver said.
